Anthropic is integrating Claude Code directly into the Claude mobile APP!
According to the latest scoop from TestingCatalog News, Anthropic is preparing to integrate the Claude Code feature into its mobile application.
Soon, we will be able to connect directly to GitHub on our phones and run code anywhere, anytime. (Several open-source projects might become obsolete again
)
Judging from the exposed interface, the "Code" option has already appeared in the sidebar of the Claude App, alongside Chats, Projects, and Artifacts:
Clicking into it shows "Code sessions will show up here," with a "New session" button at the bottom:
When a user creates a new code session, the cute pixel pig icon appears on the interface, accompanied by the text "let's git together and code":
The "Choose repository" interface below indicates that users can directly select GitHub repositories for operation, suggesting that full GitHub integration is imminent.
In the notification settings, a specific "Code updates" option has been added, described as "Get notified when Code sessions have updates":
It is plausible that Claude Code, like Codex, will support background running, pushing notifications to the user when code execution is complete or updates are available.
This small feature will be very convenient. For reference, here is a previous TUI Claude Code notification feature: Let Claude Code send you a WeChat reminder when finished
In other words, in the future, we will be able to debug code on the subway, create projects in a cafe, or even fix bugs while sitting on the toilet...
A question for reflection:
Has AI truly liberated us, or is it invading our lives?
